Well Dev Team has already released Redsnow 0.9.11b1 for downgrade iOS 5.1.1 to iOS 5.1 and olders for A5 devices, which includes The New iPad as well. And it is particularly released to give feature to redsnow for downgrading via Restore method. Now you do not have to manually change the note file for editing Host name. But one is pretty much clear that if you depends on unofficial unlock via Ultrasnow, do not update to iOS 5.1.1 with A5 device.

Only A4 devices like iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 3G and other old device are compatible with redsnow 0.9.10b8b to Tethered Jailbreak ioS 5.1.1. and further on Unlock iOS 5.1.1 via ultrasnow fixer.

As we already mentioned that iOS 5.1.1 Udpate is appeared just as Bug fixed version and we already publish that it can be Jailbreak with Redsnow 0.9.10b8b and redsnow 0.9.11b8b is still pending now i am going to tell you that iOS 5.1.1 can be Unlock with ultrasnow 1.2.5 via Ultrasnow fixer. We already mentioned that in the previously covered post, where we explained how you can Unlock iOS 5.1 with Ultrasnow 1.2.5.

The process and procedure is very similar but you can say now you can have two type of guides. One the manual download all the patches and then place it to the iPhone 4 or iPhone 3GS and other it automatic download and then patching.

1. Auto Procedure Guide:

If you want to continue with the Automatic Download of Cydia, Ultrasnow Fixer and Ultrasnow you can follow the the post of Ultrasnow 1.2.5 unlock iOS 5.1 via Ultrasnow fixer. Process for iOS 5.1.1 is totally similar.

2. Manual Installation Guide:

And if you want to go through the manual procedure, follow the mentioned below procedure.

First you need to download all the below mentioned things.

Download <——— Ultrasnow 1.2.5

Download <———MobileSubstrate

Download <———-Ultrasnow fixer patch

i-FunBox <———–For Windows

DiskAid <————-For Mac

Now if you are on MAC you need to download DiskAid, which is a file explorer, and it will help you place the above mentioned patches in iPhone devices.
And if you are on Windows you need to have i-FunBox to place file inside iPhone device.
Now run the DiskAid (if on MAC) or i-FunBox (if on Windows) and go through the following url: /private/var/root/Media
And Create Folder naming it with “Cydia” and inside “Cydia” folder, create another folder naming it “AutoInstall”.
Now copy ultrasnow 1.2.5, Ultrasnow fixer and Mobilesubstrate inside “AutoInstall” folder.

After that just reboot your iPhone Device and once rebooted, you are done with IOS 5.1.1 Unlock with Ultrasnow 1.2.5. Thanks….

But one thing is compulsory and that you must have your idevice jailbreak before going through the process. So to setup how to get Facebook feeds via Siri and Twiiter updates via Siri you need to follow the below mentioned guide.

Here is the process guide.

First make sure your iPhone 4 or any of older iPhone is jailbreak.
Then go to the Cydia and Search for Spire and install it.
Now download the Certificate from below mentioned URL via using Safari Browser.
https://www.wordjelly.com/cacert.pem and connect to the server mentioned on the site and install from WordJelly SiriServer.
Now Navigate through Setting > Siri > Turn On the Siri
After that go to the Spire and add the proxy server (https://siri.wordjelly.com:4443) And now restart your device.

How to Export Documents / All files from DropBox to Google Drive

Since my Google Drive is on i started using Google Drive rather than DropBox and tried to export all documents from DropBox to Google Drive. I found it little tricky because there are two options available to Export Documents and files from Dropbox to Google Drive. And found two common methods. both methods ae good enough if you have handsome internet speed available on both Smartphone and PC via DSL or broadband.

How to Export Documents / All files from DropBox to Google Drive

So here are the two methods. And note that both methods are manual as both are competitors so do not allow the auto sync between each other.

PC to PC transfer and then Sync to Google Drive.
Select files from Client on Smart phone and then Export to Google Drive.

Here is the detail on Both:

1. PC to PC transfer and then Sync to Google Drive.

First you need to Download Google Drive and then install it on your system.

Now go the Task Menu bar and click on Dropbox and click on “Open Dropbox Folder”.

Now go to the task menu bar and click on Google Drive and Click on “Open Google Drive Folder”.

Select and copy all desired folders from Dropbox and paste them to Google Drive Folder.

After the Auto Sync you will be able to get all the documents exported to Google Drive.

Note: We assume that you have enabled the Auto Sync option on both Cloud Drive application so by copying and pasting all the folders from Dropbox to Google Drive, Export process will begin and will take some time according to the internet speed and the size of the folders.

2. Select files from Dropbox on Smartphone and then Export to Google Drive.

Now if you have installed both app in your smartphone your can export all the document from Dropbox to Smartphone and then finally to Google Drive.

Process lines will be : Dropbox >Smartphone External memory > Google Drive

Note: if you have utilized 2.5 GB of Dropbox and you need to export all the documents from Dropbox to Google Drive you should have atleast 4GB or 3 GB free on your Smartphone external storage SD Card.

First you need to go to Dropbox and run it.

Now go to your desired documents and one by one select and keep on holding it for second.

Select the Export option.

And then Select Drive for the Export.

You will be notify in the taskbar uploaded done, once document will be executed and then finally uploaded after downloaded manually first into your smartphone.

This is it. Now you can select any of the above mentioned method to Export all the documents from Dropbox to Google Drive. but it is your own decision whether you are going to use Dropbox or Google Drive. Best of Luck.

Downgrade Galaxy Y GT-S5360 from Android 2.3.6 to 2.3.5 version

Downgrade Galaxy Y GT-S5360 from 2.3.6 to 2.3.5 was always on cards. Because, i have being into Root S5360 and Jailbreaking Android phones and iPhone as well but i do get questions where people still are not able to get the Android device Root easily. Even if they follow the guide of How to Root Galaxy Y GT-S5360 on 2.3.5 and Root Galaxy Y GT-S5360 having Android 2.3.6 they get confuse and misses one specific point.

Then at the end they end up bricking their Android phone. So here is the Solution, where they can downgrade and via Odin they can re-install the Android 2.3.5 or 2.3.6. For me the better option is Android Gingerbread 2.3.5 to use which provide better battery standby as compared to 2.3.6 android Gingerbread.

So here it the steps which will help you to downgrade your Galaxy Y GT-S5360 from 2.3.6 to 2.3.5 Gingerbread Android firmware.

First you need to download 2.3.5 Gingerbread Complete Package.
Extract the File and Run the Odin.
Now place all the files which are mentioned here under in the Odin.
Now Shut down the Galaxy Y GT-S5360. and put it in downloading mode.
Now after putting it in Downloading mode, connect the Galaxy Y with the PC.
PC will take some time to install the drivers once done. Odin will have Yellow status in the upper left side. and select the file as per below mentioned Odin picture.

PIT – totoro_0623.pit

PDA – PDA_S5360XXKI6_REV05.tar.md5

Phone – MODEM_S5360XXKI6_REV05.tar.md5

CSC – GT-S5360-MULTI-CSC-OXXKI6.tar.md5

And now click the Start button. and wait for your Galaxy Y GT-S5360 to reboot.

Install / Update Galaxy Nexus on ICS 4.0.4 Android – official Firmware

Well after Galaxy Y, now it is Galaxy Nexus turn to get update and install ICS 4.0.4 official android firmware inside Galaxy Nexus. I assume that you guys are well known with the Odin thing. Because it provide the good information regarding the downloading and update process. And consider as reliable process tool for the update. So guys who are holding Galaxy Nexus get ready to use Official ICS 4.0.4 on your Galaxy Nexus.

So guys here you go the the Process.

First you guys have to make sure that you have complete backup of your contacts and all the important documents which is currently inside your Galaxy Nexus.

Now download the official ICS 4.0.4 Android Firmware.
After that download Odin so that secure process would be initiated.
Now after downloading the Official ICS package extract it.
Now put your Nexus Galaxy into download mode and to put it in download mode you need to turn it off.
After you turn Galaxy Nexus off. Hold the Volume down button and power button along side and keep it press till you see the downloading screen.
On the downloading screen you will ask to proceed further with the download mode, proceed with it.
Now start the odin which you downloaded earlier and click on PDA button and select the file “CF_YAKJU_IMM76D_full.tar” from the extracted folder.
Now connect Galaxy Nexus with the PC via USB cable and wait till the drivers installed and till the ID:com part turns yellow.
When it turns Yellow click Start button.
And now wait for the process to complete and when process complete , your device will reboot and you will find your Galaxy Nexus running on ICS 4.0.4 Official. Thanks you are done.

How to Root / Jailbreak Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360 having 2.3.6 Android Gingerbread inside the biggest question we are receiving from our viewers. Previously we done the Rooting Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360 having Gingerbread 2.3.5 inside and it was the biggest it because there are some portal who are doing the same but sometime they get the process wrong but this case is not with us. We provided one of the easiest methods. Mostly people try to rotate the traffic if they get it on their portals and blog but we are totally against it.

We simply try to facilitate the users and viewers so that they get maximum out of what ever we write here.

So here you go wit another easiest way to Root Galaxy Y GT-S5360 having 2.3.6 Android Gingerbread inside. but before that there are again some limitations.

Limitation for Rooting Galaxy Y GT-S5360

1. You should be known with the Odin Downloading Method because in case you brick your firmware, you would easily get your firmware back from where you started.

2. You should have backup of your Contacts, SMS, and Bookmarks. And there are lots of utilities available on Google Play, (previously known as “Market”).

3. You should know how to put your device into recovery mode because Rom Manager have not released any specific version for Galaxy Y GT-S5360. if not follow the video mentioned here under.

Now Move toward the procedure which is briefly described here under.

Procedure for Rooting Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360 having 2.3.6 Android Gingerbread

First you have to Unzip Utility App so that during Recovery Mode, Update.zip file would be easily accessible.
For this purpose download ES File Explorer from Android Market and install it.
Now download Update.zip from HERE on PC.
Pick your Galaxy Y to connect it via USB cable and place this file anywhere in your SD Card.
Remove Phone from PC and Shutdown your Galaxy Y now.
Now put your Galaxy Y in recovery mode. (while holding Home Button, Volume Up button and Power Button for 20 Seconds, this will put your device in Recovery Mode.
In Recovery Mode Select the Second option, Update from SD Card.
