Spotify App for iPad is now released and it can be downloaded via iTune App Store. It was the long awaited App for iPad, which is now officially announced released. Now iPad users can stream videos via Spotify but it is not for free. Yet having long fully usable Trial version of 48 hours has been pushed out in iTune App Store and after that Spotify can be bought at $ 9.99 per month with Premium features. Install / Update Galaxy Nexus on ICS 4.0.4 Android – official Firmware

Well after Galaxy Y, now it is Galaxy Nexus turn to get update and install ICS 4.0.4 official android firmware inside Galaxy Nexus. I assume that you guys are well known with the Odin thing. Because it provide the good information regarding the downloading and update process. And consider as reliable process tool for the update. So guys who are holding Galaxy Nexus get ready to use Official ICS 4.0.4 on your Galaxy Nexus.

So guys here you go the the Process.

First you guys have to make sure that you have complete backup of your contacts and all the important documents which is currently inside your Galaxy Nexus.

Now download the official ICS 4.0.4 Android Firmware.
After that download Odin so that secure process would be initiated.
Now after downloading the Official ICS package extract it.
Now put your Nexus Galaxy into download mode and to put it in download mode you need to turn it off.
After you turn Galaxy Nexus off. Hold the Volume down button and power button along side and keep it press till you see the downloading screen.
On the downloading screen you will ask to proceed further with the download mode, proceed with it.
Now start the odin which you downloaded earlier and click on PDA button and select the file “CF_YAKJU_IMM76D_full.tar” from the extracted folder.
Now connect Galaxy Nexus with the PC via USB cable and wait till the drivers installed and till the ID:com part turns yellow.
When it turns Yellow click Start button.
And now wait for the process to complete and when process complete , your device will reboot and you will find your Galaxy Nexus running on ICS 4.0.4 Official. Thanks you are done.

Sparrow 1.2 for iPhone / MAC coming with Push Service

Mac and iPhone users will be familiar with Sparrow, as they may be using it as Email Client Service App, which includes all the IMAP services as a client App. Sparrow is right now missing only one feature, which is considered to be very important for the users of business class. People who need to be mobilized want to have push services for their email accounts. So Sparrow Developer Team already intimated that Sparrow 1.2 will be coming out with Push Services.

Previously Sparrow covered all the IMAP services but now if they get the Push Service Feature, it will be a hot App for the people who travel a lot and do want to be stay connected with their work.

Here are few official words from the Sparrow Dev Team :

“Thanks to your amazing support, we feel confident that Apple might revise its position on the Push API. We’ll submit a version of Sparrow 1.2 including it. this might delay Sparrow 1.2 validation but we’re already working with some partners to include Push in future versions of Sparrow without needing Apple clearance. Push is coming. With or without Apple.”

The Sparrow 1.1 Version is already out in the iTune App Store and you can download or update it but it is better to wait and pray for the upcoming Sparrow 1.2 version.

Air Playit for iOS 5.1 / 5.0 on iPhone 4S / iPad 3 / 2 – Mind blowing Video Streaming App

Air Playit certainly making some very good differences in iPhone 4S, where video streaming is a real feature for it. Believe it or not, iDevices are now becoming some of the best media playing devices. As a big fan of them myself, I watch videos on my iOS device such as, iPhone 4S and iPad 2, all the time. But here comes a hurdle that I have to convert those media to compatible formats for playback on my iOS device. So a real good video streaming application for iOS 5 on iPhone 4S and iPad 3 / iPad 2 is never unwelcome. I tried plenty of software, which boasts that it can perfectly stream video and audio on my iPhone 4S. This time, I come across Air Playit and give it a try. The best thing is that this app is completely free. Anyway, I must say I am impressed.

How It Works?

Air Playit for iPhone 4S works on a client-server model, which means that a server software should reside on your PC or Mac, while a client software should be installed on your iOS 5.1 or iOS 5 and older. It works with the iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and Android devices. Let’s first take a look at the server software.

Install Server on PC or on MAC:

The server software is available for both PC and Mac, and the server software can be downloaded here. Take PC version as an example.

After correct installment and registration, tapping the server software you can view the some information like the port number, local IP address, and internet IP address, which you must note down for the client end reference.

You could change permission settings and PIN protection to prevent unauthorized access. Setting up the shared media folders by clicking “Add Folder” or “Add iTunes Playlist” to add the video folder(s) you want to stream from the server end.

Install Client on iDevice or Android Device:

Once the server is up and running with the shared folders set just now, you can download Air Playit client and install it on your iDevice like iPhone 4S / 4 or iPhone 3GS. This is a free application and you can find the right version for your device on its official website.

The local server should show up immediately, for it supports automated server discovery on local network by Bonjour Service. But if it doesn’t, you could also add remote server by manually specifying IP address, port number, and PIN if necessary (they should be recorded when setting the server end).

Browse the shared folders and choose the video you want to watch by clicking “Play”. Then the last thing is enjoying the flawless show on fly.

Air Playit is an excellent free App for idevice and for Androids that does everything only available in paid versions of its competitors. While it is usually true that there isn’t such a thing as free lunch, but it seems that Air Playit wants to make an exception.
