- First you need to download iOS 6 for your respective iDevice.
- Then Bring or copy it to the desktop so that it can be easily access via itunes.
- Now Connect your iDevice with USB Connector Cable.
- Run the iTunes and Put the iDevice in DFU mode.
- Now you will be asked for two things, Update or Restore.
- Select the Restore option and browse to the .ipsw file which you downloaded earlier and proceed further and your iDevice will be updated to iOS 6.
