Facebook Phone vs Twitter Phone – is it ON??
Facebook Phone news is now globally spread and many other big portals are behind it but it is just an Facebook OS, which is built on the Android Kernal so the heat between Android and Facebook OS will not be on. But surprisingly, we all we know that Facebook is getting the best engineers on their own portal that are, in the past working for the Apple, so combining Facebook OS and Android will be taking on iOS Apple Team, which will be interesting competition. Now Apple’s engineering working on Android Kernal which can make wonders against iOS 6 and iOS 7 in future. For me the real competition will be between Social media Portals, Facebook vs Twitter, as Facebook will be targeting the social network audience with its Facebook OS but Twitter will be backed by Apple, indirectly there is a tussle between Android vs iOS.

Facebook Phone Concept in my Opinion:
The basic concept of Facebook Phone is to get the facebook feeds, timeline, video and audio sharing, event, Voice Calls, message centre, and all the possible Facebook feature readily available and closer to one tap on screen. So that user would get everything at ease.
Over All, on the default screen I would get less sponsored feed and occasional news will be shared. Advanced Notification centre will bring me with more in depth features, and if we take headphone on, specific video and audio feed featured with Spotify and viral songs will be display to the Facebook users, which makes the Facebook OS self intelligent to make adjustments according the usability. Now for the voice call, it will be powered with the Skype calling so that atleast Skype users and Facebook like to stay online all day so that the calling feature is very much possible without making it on 3G and 2G cellular. And just like with the help of Siri or Voice Assistant, you can make call just calling the specific person’s name. These are few features which will be included inside Facebook Phone OS.
Do we really need Facebook Phone / OS:
Now this is the real question audience asking from themselves because, Facebook is just like better phenomenon then Orkut or MySpace where people come and go, Twitter is there but with limited features and that means, if something better than Facebook comes across Facebook will have to face the same old consequences just like Orkut. If you look at Facebook App for iOS, Android and any other OS, you come across almost weekly or monthly updates, which means that things are getting better and user will get more easy with the passage of time. At start, only few notifications, timeline and feeds were available, but now users can share pictures, can chat over Facebook Chat Messenger and many other things has been added but that does not mean to me that I would get full mapped Facebook OS which integrate everything for me with the time lapse.
The Cliché and the Target audience of the in particular Facebook OS for me is not as big as iOS or Windows Phone OS. Therefore for me things will get heated once Twitter announces same kind of things on Twitter OS, other than that Facebook Phone or OS whatever you call it will remain just like any other nightly built Android ROM ported initially in Facebook Phone which is built by HTC.
