5th Generation iPhone 5 and iPod Touch with 4 inch Screen, A5 Chip Expected this year Fall
Another day another rumor comes out that iPhone 5 along side with iPod Touch 5th Generation and the screen size of both iDevices will remain same as ever. This particular rumors makes sense because the screen size of 4 inch makes as well and the theory of both iPhone and iPod touch release with almost same screen size is already in practice by Apple. Only change that can be seen is the backside design changes in iPod Touch where Buffed Aluminum cover will be replaced in iPod touch 5G.
This particular news and rumors has been leaked from KGI Securities Analyst Ming-chi Kuo where it has been stated that iPod Touch alongside iPhone 5 will be launched this year Fall for sure. According to him:
New iPod Touch (5th Generation) will have 4 inch LCD which is the same size with coming iPhone 5. CPU or other spec is considered to be same with iPhone 4S, and has different back case design, which will not be mirror polished but buffed aluminum one. And it seems to be prepared black and while model.
Hence Screen size of both iPhone and iPod touch is likely to remain almost same and it should remain same because more screen size is not a priority of the Apple users but always better and advanced innovative features. Hardware redesign is something which comes in as second option. So I stands with 4 inch screen for both iPod Touch and iPhone 5.
