Features of Samsung Galaxy S2 Vs HTC Sensation 4G



The smartphones are getting bigger and better with time. After the announcement of Samsung Galaxy S2, the super phone expected to arrive soon in the second quarter, there seemed to be no competitor or match for the smartphone. That will change with HTC Sensation 4G’s arrival.

1. Samsung Galaxy S2

Size: S2 has a dimension of 125.3 x 66.1 x 8.5 mm and weighs at 116 g

Display: S2’s 480 x 800 pixel Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen

Memory: S2 depending on the model will feature 16 GB or 32 GB storage smartphone with 1 GB RAM and microSD up to 32 GB is supported.

Input Feature: S2 features a Gorilla Glass display, TouchWiz 3.0 UI, multi-touch input method, accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, touch-sensitive controls, proximity sensor for auto turn-off and Swype text input.

Camera: Samsung Galaxy S2 has an 8-megapixel 3264×2448 pixels camera with autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection and image stabilization features. It can capture videos 1080p at 30fps and has a 2-megapixel secondary camera.

Processor: S2 has dual-core 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A9 Mali-400MP GPU, Orion chipset processor.

2. HTC Sensation 4G

Size: Sensation 4G has a dimension of 126.1 x 65.4 x 11.3 mm and weighs at 148 g.

Display: Sensation 4G features 4.3-inch display with a 540 x 960 pixel S-LCD capacitive touchscreen.

Memory: HTC’s smartphone has 768 MB RAM and 1 GB internal storage capacity with a support of microSD up to 32GB and 8 GB is included.

Input Feature: Sensation are Gorilla glass display multi-touch, accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, a proximity sensor for auto turn-off, gyro sensor and HTC Sense v3.0 UI.

Camera: Sensation has an 8-megapixel 3264×2448 pixels camera with autofocus, dual-LED flash, geo-tagging, touch-focus, image stabilization, face detection and instant capture features. The camera can capture videos 1080p at 30fps and has stereo sound recording feature and comes along with a secondary VGA camera.

Processor: Sensation 4G has 1.2 GHz dual-core Adreno 220 GPU, Qualcomm MSM 8260 Snapdragon processor.

Samsung Galaxy S2 on the other hand is claiming to be the fastest smartphone to date with a record breaking speed test. The Russian journalist Eldar Murtazin has been running the new Galaxy S2 through Quadrant and the smartphone scored 3,053 on the Quadrant charts and other smartphones were left far behind.
