Pwnage Tool 4.2 to Jailbreak iPad IOS 4.3.1

It is only few that IOS 4.3.1 is released by Apple, now Pwnage Tool 4.2 just comes out to Jailbreak IOS 4.3.1 for iPad, which is Semi Tethered and Cydia is fully functional on it. Unlock news for iPhone IOS 4.3.1 is yet to come but i am sure developers are working on it to complete the Unlock Tool developement.
So Far Pwnaga tool 4.2 has been release so guys if you have updated your firmware to IOS 4.3.1 udpate, you will be need to Downgrade IOS 4.3.1 with Tinyumbrella because so far there is no Unlock available for the iPhone IOS 4.3.1.
And if you are not interested in Downgrade, you can follow the iPhone IOS 4.3.1 Jailbreaking process with Pwnage Tool 4.2. Please note that Pwnage Tool 4.2 is available for Mac Users only for this time and for Windows users it will be coming shortly for sure.
Here you go with the process:
First Download Pwnaga Tool for your device.
Download Latest IOS 4.3.1.
Download Latest Itunes
Download Ramdisk Fixer and Download TetheredBoot
Now the steps are:
1. First Download Pwnage Bundle for ipad “iPad1,1_4.3.1_8GA.bundle and extract the folder (this will includes the Universal Ramdisk Fixer) copy and the bundle for iPhone “iPad1,1_4.3.1_8GA.bundle” and paste it to the desktop.
2. Install the Universal Ramdisk Fixer it will patch to create custom IOS 4.3.1 for your device.
3. Now download Pwnage Tool 4.2, now right click and click on “Show Package Content” and copy it and paste it to application location in mentioned url : “Content/Resources/FirmwareBundles/”
4. Now start Pwnage Tool 4.2 to create custom firmware.
5. select the expert mode and select your device and click next.
6. select the download ios 4.3.1 while locating it on your desktop and click on “Build” tab.
7. Pwnage tool will create custom cooked IOS 4.3.1 for your device.
8. Now Pwnage tool will ask you to put your device in DFU mode, make sure you are connected to the Machine via data cable
9. Now start itunes and select the restore option and point your itunes to the custom cooked IOS 4.3.1 and allow it to restore. Once done your device will be jailbroken with Pwnage Tool.
10. now you have to boot your device in tethered mode with Tetheredboot utility.
11. Download Tetheredboot.zip. and extract it and put it in folder on desktop naming Tetheredboot
12 Now copy your custom created IOS 4.3.1 and change the extension of it to “.zip” and extract it.
13. Now copy below mentioned files
“kernelcache.release.k48″ and “iBSS.k48ap.RELEASE.dfu”
and paste these file in the same folder in desktop of tetheredboot.
14. now turn off your device and start the terminal and write follow commands
/Users/yourpcname/Downloads/tetheredboot/tetheredboot
/Users/yourpcname/Downloads/tetheredboot/iBSS.k48ap.RELEASE.dfu
/Users/yourpcname/Downloads/tetheredboot/kernelcache.release.k48
and hit the “enter”
Terminal will through some commands and finally ask you to put your device once again in DFU mode. Put it on DFU mode.
17. Now your device will boot again and once you recieved message of “Exiting libpois0n”. this means you are done with it…..
