And for taking advantage, Android Central portal comes out with the easy procedure of Motorola Xoom Unlock to install Custom Roms.

So here is the easiest way to Unlock Motorola Xoom to Install Custom Roms.

Please note that if you follow the below mentioned procedure, Your warrenty will be void.

Procedure is very simple.

  • First Download Android SDK - Developer SDK.
  • Now Download USB Driver from MotoDev.
  • Now power off your Motorola Xoom and Press Down button of Volume, while pressing the Power button. Make sure you have install the drivers downloaded earlier and Motorola Xoom is connected via USB.
  • Now You will probably see FastBoot Protocol Text on top left side of the screen of Xoom. Now open command window in SDK
  • Type there “fastboot oem unlock”.
  • You will get the warning and it means you have successfully unlock the Motorola Xoom. Enjoy the unlocked Xoom in which you can now place any files on Xoom. Enjoy.
