Nexus S with Stock OS Gingerbread – Pros and Cons
by MAC Article posted in Cellphones, Gadgets
Today i took advantage of having Nexus S in my hands and having cool discussion with my cousin Haris Nadeem on Nexus S. Revealed different Pros and Cons of Nexus S. Where sometimes, we felt that Nexus S is awesome and sometimes we believe that it just a same of Samsung Galaxy S. So i tried to close in the review of Nexus S with some ordinary words to brief in simple manner.
Pros and Cons:
When it comes to the speed, Nexus S is far far better performer, even if more than 20 Apps loaded on back, Speed of Nexus S is tantalizing and amazingly good. Having Splashing switching off, Nexus S reflects the feature of some good historical TV shutting down. The screen low brightness appeared to have good affects on the standby and when you turn the brightness down to zero, it does it at meaningful low level with eventually making the Nexus S to consume lesser battery life.
When it comes to other Samsung Galaxy S, if you turn the brightness to zero, it still appear to have more brighter screen, which may cause to use more battery life than Nexus S. If you comes to the Touch Keyboard, it is little different to the Galaxy S and Nexus One touch Keyboard.
Whole range to options for the Capturing Modes are available in Samsung Galaxy S, but when it come on Nexus S, it does not appear to have depth for the Shooting Mode, and one thing which amazed us is that, Nexus S does not have Zoom in Option…. yes Nexus S does not have the Zoom in Option. If you want to Zoom in or Out, first take the picture and than zoom it in and out … For live Camera, Zoom in and out option is not available.
Nexus S users cannot go back to older Android OS means they cannot port in older Android like Froyo and older one. Yes shape is good, little curvy one, having four touch buttons. But there are so many things, which are limited on the Stock GingerBread OS. Camera does not have the ISO and Panoramic feature and it only have the basis camera features.
So for me, Galaxy S and Nexus One were almost but i prefer Galaxy S over Nexus S because of it ability to update OS and even to root back to Older one. There is flexibility in Nexus One and Galaxy S. The hardware features are almost the same and Nexus S is just flag ship smartphone having touch different screen, as it cover almost the same sized 4inch Super Amoled, Contour Display with little curved glass screen. but for simple users are Nexus S is pretty much similar to Galaxy S.
