Run Android 2.2.1 inside iPhone IOS 4.1 / 4.0.1 / 4.0.2 / 4.0 via iDroid

Tricks are tricks and now with the help of trick, iPhone 3G / 2G now can run Android 2.2.1 firmware. It is basically the Android console, which will be download and installed inside iPhone 3G and iPhone 2G and with the help of quickboot, firmware will be switched but it still requires Jailbreak iPhone 3G / 2G

Things are good if below mentioned conditions are met:

Firmware to support iDroid on iPhone 3G / 2G:

  • For iPhone 2G Firmware 3.1.2 and 3.1.3 are supported (only if they are jailbreak already)
  • For iPhone 3G Firmware 3.1.2 OS, 3.1.3 OS, IOS 4.0, IOS 4.0.1, IOS 4.0.2 and IOS 4.1 (only if they are jailbreak already)

Jailbreak Tool that can be considered if iPhone is not Jailbroken already.

Process is very easy  but before you move on, make sure your device qualifies above mentioned conditions.

Open Cydia and add URL (http://repo.neonkoala.co.uk) in Source you will be forwarded and prompt to install BootLace, Install it.

Now after installation it will appear in Spring board.

Now run Bootlace and it will prompt you to install OpeniBoot, Install it.

Now after OpeniBoot process will prompt to install iDroid, so install it.

After you install the iDroid, you will have option of QuickBoot and this will take you to Android 2.2.1.

Thanks for the The Reader eye to spread nice tricks around.
