It is good news as HP enters the Smart phone’s OS competition, where it official announced the Launch of WebOS 2.0 for Smart phones in their Press Release. Yes now there will be HP standing in front of Apple, Google Android and Nokia’s Symbian Developers Team. Now a days, Android and IOS of Apple generating high revenues as they are running the Hottest Smart Phones around the Globe.

Even Dell and Other Smart Phone manufacturers are using Android and now Microsoft’s Windows OS. Recently Windows 7 Phone has been launched so for HP launching its own WebOS for Smart Phones, is the biggest and boldest step, as HP competes with Microsoft, Apple, Nokia and other Smart Phones OS developers.

HP in launches in France via SFR:

HP WebOS 2.0 will be launch on Palm Pre this friday in France via SFR and SFR carrier user will get hands on it before every one in this world. Later in up coming months, HP WebOS 2.0 will be launched in USA and Canada via Verizon. So guys in USA and Canada and other countries stay in touch.

There is hint of Unlock problems with the WebOS, if they are used on un-official carriers so guys, WebOS 2.0 is evident and very much on cards.

One thing is notable thing HP directly hits the Apple IOS, as right from start it emphasis on Multi-tasking feature of its own WebOS 2.0 and they claims that their WebOS 2.0 will be havbing multi-tasking feature, where the games can be paused and other application can be used side by side.

One thing which most of the mobile and smart phones OS lakes that is inter-relationship and support. What i mean is one developers should develops the OS, through which Apple IOS supported application would be used on other smart phones OS. lets hope that all the companies will look into it as well very soon….

HP today announced HP webOS 2.0, the most significant update to the platform since its launch in 2009 and a substantial step in HP’s vision to transform how people think, feel and connect.

The first device to run webOS 2.0, HP’s new Palm Pre 2 smartphone, will be available Friday in France from SFR and is scheduled to be available in the coming months in the United States from Verizon Wireless and in Canada.

True Multitasking – Pause a game, tap an email notification, check your calendar, read a restaurant review, send an email reply, then switch back to the game without closing anything.^(1,2) webOS lets you easily manage multiple open applications and notifications using natural touch gestures. New in webOS 2.0, Stacks logically groups together your open apps so they work the way you do. Adobe® Flash Player 10.1 Beta – With version 2.0, webOS now supports a beta of Adobe Flash Player 10.1 in the browser, which provides access to rich, Flash-based web content.⁽⁶⁾

A host of developer features – In addition to Exhibition, Just Type and Synergy APIs, webOS 2.0 adds Node.JS, enabling developers to create services in JavaScript. They also can now use the webOS Plug-In Development Kit (PDK) to combine C/C++ with web technologies in a single app.
