Jailbreak PS3 with Android – Download Jailbreak PS3 Package

Initially Jailbreak PS3 was done with USB MODchip, which cost around $150 in the market. But here is free process to Jailbreak PS3 with Android. Not all the Android Phone are compatible but some are and Nexus One is one compatible piece around. So guys you can use Nexus One to Jailbreak PS3 as well.

So here is the Easy Process of which i got from Haroonaejaz.com, which is easiest of what explained on Web.

1. First Download PS3 Jailbreak Package and extract files, “N1-CM6-PSFreedom.tar.gz” , “PS3-signed.zip” and “PS3-no-more-signed.zip” by using unzip software like, WinRAR etc. And after extracting, copy all into your MicroSD card of Android Phone.

2. Now Reboot your Android Phone into Recovery Mode.

3. Once Reboot, Flash it with “PS3-signed.zip” and reboot it again.

4. Now use following comands, in Terminal:

cd/mnt/sdcard

su

insmod psfreedom.ko

(Please note that while porting in PSFREEDOM file into MicroSD, will help in Jailbreaking PS3

5. After this Turn off PS3, connect the Android phone on USB port.

6. Now turn the PS3 and immediately push the Eject button. if only one of the both light turned on, try to reboot and push the eject button instantly.

7. On reboot, if both light turned on….. there you go, Your PS3 is Jailbreak with Android and DONE.
