Will Sony face Legal proceedings from PS Jailbreak Developers

After iPhone jailbreak gets legal, there can be a chance that Sony will have to face the situation which is faced by iPhone team. Yes Jailbreak for PS3 is available, and might be Sony is playing his part for banning the Jailbreak Process remotely but nothing has been officially done.

The process of Jailbreak PS3 is very simple. Where one has to purchase USB Modchip either from Chipspain or from Ozmodchips. After that there is a little trick to activate the USB Modchip to initiate Jailbreak PS3 process. that is Turn off the PS3 (having firmware 3.41 or above). Insert the USB into any of the USB port and turn the PS3 on and when it turned on immediately push the eject button. if Both light (Red and Green) on USB turn ON, Jailbreak is Done.

Now take backup of any game on External Drive, while taking backup of the Game from the Backup Manager and start playing the Game without putting Disk into Optical Drive.

But guys…… stay away from it till some thing official comes out from Sony, coz there is rumor or news that Sony is turning the Ban on the Jailbreak PS3 consoles via PSN when you connect PS3 online. It gives the Error of 8002A227 Code when it comes online.

It is observed when connected online PS3 through messages to PNS, and in result of that Sony team detects the Jailbroken PS3 and from ID, they ban that user.

It was War between Jailbreakers and iPhone Team but at the end, Jailbreak got the legal terms to jailbreak any iPhone so there might be a chance that same thing happens to PS3 Jailbreaking.
