Android gets hit by First Trojan

Kaspersky Experts states that First Trojan has been witnessed, which sends SMS having credit of the cellphone user form his carrier account. It is not the virus but a thread, which after installation get active. It can be first Trojan attacked on Android Phone which is highlighted by different Blogs around.Basically it is Media Player having only 13kb. which once installed start funding the Developers of Virus and this particular Trojan via forward funds with SMS. It simply prompt in to install and then get active with its Trojan Activity. So it is highly recommended to check whenever any Third party Media Players are installed in the Android phone.
Google also made a statement, where they advising the Google Android phone users, that they should stick with the Trusted App developer. They also made a clear statement that their installation instructions are very informative which confirms the status and ask number of times, whether user wants to continue or not.

Our application permissions model protects against this type of threat. When installing an application, users see a screen that explains clearly what information and system resources the application has permission to access, such as a user’s phone number or sending an SMS. Users must explicitly approve this access in order to continue with the installation, and they may uninstall applications at any time.
We consistently advise users to only install apps they trust. In particular, users should exercise caution when installing applications outside of Android Market.
So guys beware of it and stay away from the Untrusted App Developers. and Stay Safe.
