How to stop "checking for solutions" option in Windows 7

Error Reporting feature seems useless in Windows 7, as it was in Windows XP. Error reporting and Checking for Solution feature does not meet the expectations and no real solutions has been provided. So kept it on running, i prefer to stop using this particular feature, which is definitely occupying resources of Windows 7.

So guys i came across the steps, how to stop “Checking for Solution” in Windows 7, as there is no advantage of keeping it alive. Windows 7 already needs good amount of resources.

So for the low specs laptops and netbooks, i already provided one on Windows 7 Optimization via Index Crawler and second on Creating Paging File for more resources availability so that low specs PC, Laptops and Netbook, will feel no hindrance, while running Windows 7.

In this specific article, i have presented easiest way to stop the feature of “Checking for Solution” in Windows 7, so little more help would be given to the machines (laptops, Netbooks and PC).

Just follow me as i go.

1. first go the “Control Panel” and then in “Action Center”.

2. Then click on “Maintenance”.

Action Center

3. After clicking on “Maintenance” click on “Settings”.

Maintenance Screens

4. Another windows will open there select the option for “Never check for Solutions”

Check for Solution Option

5. For all users, just click on “Change Report settings for all users” and then again click on “Never check for Solutions”.

Second Maintenance Screen

By following above steps, more resources will be free and Windows 7 will work more faster.
