Windows 7 optimization with Paging Files

windows7-site

Well it is time to optimize the Windows 7 performance with the respect of Paging up. previously we have discussed about how to deal with the Windows 7 Index Crawling, Appearance Control and several other things but now we have another option with us. By default Windows 7 and every other Operating System generally create paging file same to that of PC physical memory but it can be altered to have optimum performance out of the PC or Laptop without adding any RAM in to it.

Well the steps to optimize with the respect of Paging File is very easy. All we need is to follow below mentioned steps with the help of Screen Shots.

1. One step will be to right click on “My Computer” icon and go into the “Properties”, on which we will have the follow screen and then click onto “Advance System Setting”

2. After clicking Advance System Setting you will have following screen and then click on “Setting Button” as mentioned here below.

3.  After that we will have follow screen and there you have to click on “Advance Tab” as mentioned on the below screen.

4. After that you have to click on “Change  Button” to change the paging file. You can observe that by default paging file will at 1024MB. By default the paging will be on automatic but un-check the “Automatically manage the Paging files for all drive” select it to manual and now it is recommended that Minimum Paging should be kept at 3000 MB and Maximum up to 4000MB. as shown in below screen shot and then hit the button “Set”.

When you click on “Set” button, Windows 7 will ask for the restart so that no paging files would be created instead of auto. After Restart you will feel the difference in Loading different graphic development and language editor programs. Gaming Performance will become better than before.

Thanks and comments will be appreciated regarding above quoted Optimization process for Windows 7
