Recently i had a email from Microsoft team that initially they were planning to launch, Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 at the end of August, but now they are decided to launch it little earlier, so here it is. On 14th August, 2009 they are open to download 180 days evaluation version of Windows Server 2008 R2. It is expected that the time frame which is given for the Windows 7 in upcoming months will reduce, as they did with Windows Server 2008 R2, they can do the same with windows 7 as well but till then, Microsoft presents Windows Server 2008 R2 with addition of some latest useful features, which will help in maintaining good secured, and well designed Network system for a organization.

The features which are added to the new Windows Server 2008 are as follows:

Hyper V for better Visualizations:

With this added feature, hardware connected to network can be monitored easily. it is advance hyper vision technology, which optimize the performance of Server machine and also monitor the hardware connected so that the performance of the Server machine will not be scarifies in any case.

IIS 7.0 :

ISS 7.0 is the advance version of IIS 6.0 which helps in diagnostic process and also monitor the difference application around the network. It also has tools for the web administration.

Multiple Securities deployment:

With the Windows Server 2008 R2, multiple security policies can be deployed on the network, with the help of which data, and the infrastructure of the organization network can be secured.
